The Giants currently have just over $5 million in cap space for the 2018 season following their recent moves, according to Over the Cap.

Big Blue’s cap space accounts for center Brett Jones, who reportedly received a second-round tender. Gettleman can clear some room by cutting players like Marshall and Harris, but even then the Giants may be done with their big spending this offseason.

Many of the top free agents have been taken off the market. The Giants have been linked to players like safety Tyrann Mathieu, center John Sullivan, and punter Pat O’Donnell. Mathieu has since signed with the Houston Texans, and Sullivan and O’Donnell have been retained by their respective teams.

There are some players on the market worth keeping an eye on though. D.J. Fluker visited the Seattle Seahawks this past week, but a reunion with Big Blue has not been “ruled out yet,” according to SNY’s Ralph Vacchiano.

Former Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey could also be an intriguing option, but his price tag will likely be too expensive for the Giants. He is also visiting the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday.

Jack Mewhort is another free agent offensive lineman worth paying attention to in free agency. The 26-year-old guard is a quality starter when healthy, but has missed 17 games over the past two seasons.

If the Giants wanted to add a free safety, Tre Boston could make a nice fit alongside Landon Collins. Gettleman originally selected Boston in the fourth-round of the 2014 draft as Carolina’s general manager but decided to cut the 6-foot-1, 205-pound safety after the 2016 season.

Boston went on to have a career-year with the Chargers, starting 15 games and recording five interceptions.

The G-Men could also look to add another defensive lineman to their front-seven. Josh Mauro is reportedly set to visit Big Blue on Sunday.

Kony Ealy, Frostee Rucker, and Johnathan Hankins are three other free agent defensive linemen with connections to New York’s front office or coaching staff.

There are multiple options that could help Big Blue on both sides of the ball. But with limited cap space and the additions of Solder, Ogletree, Martin, and Omameh, New York’s biggest free agent moves are likely already in the rearview mirror.
