31. . Defensive Tackle. Syracuse Orange, 2014. Jay Bromley. 5. player

The fact that Jay Bromley makes this list is a statement in itself. That’s not a knock on Bromley. He has proven himself a valuable rotational defensive lineman through his first four seasons.

In fact, Bromley has already played in more games (55) than 12 other third-round draft picks since 2000. That’s not including this year’s draft class. Of course, Darian Thompson and Davis Webb can leapfrog Bromley on this list, but they don’t currently have enough on their résumés to surpass him yet.

Thompson easily could this upcoming season should he earn the starting free safety role. Webb’s future with the Giants is far from certain.

So for now, Bromley takes the fifth spot, even though he is no longer with the Giants. The 6-foot-3, 314-pound defensive tackle signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints this offseason.

He is one of Reese’s few third-round draft picks still in the league. Only four are still on NFL rosters, and Owamagbe Odighizuwa has not taken a regular season snap since 2016.

Despite a short tenure as a rotational defensive lineman for the Giants, Bromley amassed 76 tackles, four tackles for a loss, and two sacks.
