Right Inside Linebacker: Blake Martinez

Martinez joined the Giants in last year’s free agency. He did not disappoint playing on a new team.

Last season, Martinez led the team with 13 tackles against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a week later he led the team again with eight tackles, and got his first sack of the season against the Chicago Bears.

In Week 9 against a divisional rival- the Washington Football Team, Martinez yet again led the team with 10 tackles and intercepted a pass. Martinez is a tackling machine and through the first nine games of last season, he led the league with 92 total tackles.
