The Ugly:

Injuries:

This one was obvious.

The story of the game for the NY Giants was injuries.

It started off with Andrew Thomas being listed as active but only in the use of an emergency.

Then after stepping awkwardly on the foot of Jourdan Lewis, Saquon Barkley was carted off and diagnosed with a low ankle sprain.

Soon after, Daniel Jones went out with a concussion after taking a mean hit to the helmet from Jabril Cox while making a full effort on a potential TD play.

After that, Kenny Golladay went out with a hyperextended knee

Then CB Rodarius Williams was carted out of the game with a knee injury.

This game was a disaster for the Giants injury wise.

Hopefully all of these injuries are not too serious as they are all key players for the Giants and their chances of success.

Mike Glennon:

Mike Glennon started off pretty solid for the Giants. Starting off the 2nd half with a 35 yard bomb to Kadarius Toney. He then led the Giants down the field to gain a Giants field goal to make it a 13-17 game.

However, things quickly fell apart for Glennon.

On the first play of the next offensive possession for the Giants, Glennon threw a bomb to CJ Board, but it was underthrown.

This led to Trevon Diggs catching up to Board and intercepting the pass.

On the next possession the Giants were looking great driving down the field, but after back to back Glennon incompletions the Giants turned the ball over on downs.

Glennon looked good on the next possession, carving up the Cowboys defense until he eventually found Devontae Booker on an out route for a 3 yard TD.

On the next possession of an already finished game the Giants were still looking to make an effort. This was ended after Glennon threw a brutal pick-6 to Anthony Brown to seal the game.

Mike Glennon definitely was not the reason we lost, but he also did not necessarily help our cause.
