One of the worst picks Gettleman has had, if not the worst, is Deandre Baker. Not only was Baker horrendous in his rookie year, but Gettleman traded up from the 2nd round to grab him at the end of the 1st.

After just one terrible season, the Giants made the decision to cut ties with Baker due to a legal incident that looked troubling at the time. Fortunately for Baker, he was cleared of any wrong-doing. Unfortunately for the Giants, they wasted a 1st round pick.

The Georgia product was picked up by the Chiefs, where he’s currently a backup. In the aftermath, Gettleman has handed out lucrative contracts to both James Bradberry and Adoree’ Jackson in an attempt to rectify that pick.

WR A.J. Brown (2.19) would’ve been a fine here, as Gettleman needed a potential number one receiver. In his first two seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Brown has compiled over 2,100 yards with 19 touchdowns. Similar to the situation with the failure of Baker, Gettleman gave out a giant deal to Kenny Golladay as the Giants were overdue for a Odell Beckham Jr. replacement.

Other potential picks: OT Kaleb McGary (1.31), WR Deebo Samuel (2.4), C Elgton Jenkins (2.12), C Erik McCoy (2.16), D.K. Metcalf (2.32)
