Edge George Karlaftis, Purdue

In a draft class that is stacked with edge rushers, alongside the NY Giants struggling pass rush this season, it only seems right that the NY Giants take a look at some more edge rushers. This includes Purdue’s George Karlaftis.

Karlaftis is a 6’4 275-pound edge rusher who has tallied 28 combined tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles.

Karlaftis has an ability to play on both the inside and outside of the defensive line which is a tool the NY Giants could find useful. According to PFF he has tallied 41 pressures in 8 games so far this college season. Boasting an impressive 18.1% pressure creation rate.

The combination of Karlaftis’s strength and versatility can be very useful for a needy NY Giants defense.
