Bold prediction No. 3: Daniel Jones is sacked at least three times

The NY Giants might be getting Andrew Thomas back at left tackle, which would certainly be a significant boost for the offense.

However, the offensive line has been a sieve for much of the past month.

Jones has already been sacked an average of twice per game, including absorbing more than three sacks three times in eight-plus games.

Even if Thomas is back in the lineup, the Buccaneers’ swarming front-seven is one of the most daunting challenges this line will face. Especially with Devin White (13.5 sacks),  Jason Pierre-Paul (2.5 sacks), and LaVonte David anchoring Tampa Bay’s front-seven.

Throwing Thomas back into the starting lineup as soon as he’s healthy is absolutely necessary, but this is not the front-seven to be knocking off any sort of rust from a stint on injured reserve.

Don’t be surprised if Jones once again is forced to withstand a barrage of pressure, perhaps being sacked at least three times.
