NY Giants LB Tae Crowder – STUD

The NY Giants’ turnover spate was sparked by Julian Love’s first quarter interception, but arguably the biggest play New York’s defense made came on the final play of the first half.

With :08 remaining, Jalen Hurts fired a pass from the one-yard line intended for Boston Scott but Crowder jumped the route and pulled down an interception to preserve the NY Giants’ 3-0 halftime lead.

Crowder delivered several punishing hits, especially on Eagles’ running backs, on his way to finishing with six total tackles, one interception, and one pass breakup.

The NY Giants are certainly looking for any of the young players in the linebacking corps to step up and show they belong as part of the future plans, alongside a healthy Blake Martinez next season and beyond. Sunday, Crowder seemed to take a significant step.
