Darius Slayton snaps out of his current funk in a contract year
2021 was a major down year for Darius Slayton after he carved a role as a go-to receiver for Daniel Jones in years past.
Obviously, Jones’ own absences were a big reason for the drop-off in play, but falling below 50% in catches is a bad look for the Auburn alum.
If the rest of the offense gets right, Slayton should see his levels of play return back to his norm. But he may not be the featured receiver in the Meadowlands any longer with the talent ahead of him on the depth chart.
