This would be the ideal NY Giants receiving corps in 2022
Braxton Berrios remains in the Big Apple but upgrades his employer
The NY Jets are truly the only team over the past half-decade that can reasonably be called a step down from the current state of the NY Giants. Gang Green has not made the postseason since 2010 and has cycled between draft busts and fill-ins as ‘the guy’ under center.
Braxton Berrios has been a solid hand the past several seasons for MetLife Stadium’s other tenant and Daniel Jones could most certainly use a guy who has yet to drop a single target in 2021, even with two rookie QBs under center in Zach Wilson and Mike White throwing him the ball.
Chris Moore fills out the end of the Big Blue bench
Chris Moore has already exceeded mostly modest expectations of him this past season, and after a rejuvenating season with a floundering Houston Texans franchise, he can now find another new situation that can lift him even higher.
With the Giants lacking meaningful cap space, the guys like Berrios and Moore are the most sensible targets to fill out the end of the bench.
