Tight End

The current situation at tight end is bleak, to say the least.

Evan Engram finished the season with just 46 receptions and just over 400 receiving. While the poor statline can be attributed to a less than lackluster overall offense, it is still disappointing to see.

Outside of Engram, there is Kyle Rudolph who also left much to be desired. It isn’t impossible that both of these players are off the roster sooner rather than later. This could lead to the Giants going after a tight end at some point in this draft.

After trying to utilize Engram in a role that was more suited to that of a receiver, they may look for a tight end who is a blocker first and a receiver second. The luxury of a tight end who can block at a good level will help alleviate some of the gaps that will still be there on the offensive line.
