Develop Daniel Jones or another QB in the future:

In Joe Schoen’s first draft with the Buffalo Bills they decided to select Josh Allen out of Wyoming with the 7th overall pick.

Josh Allen was drafted as a raw rookie with tons of potential, as he had all the physical tools to succeed, however, he couldn’t put it all together in his rookie year.

As the years went on, Josh Allen continued to develop and eventually turned into one of the best QB’s in the entire NFL, making the Bills look like geniuses for selecting him over Josh Rosen.

Ever since drafting Daniel Jones back in 2019, the NY Giants have done little-to-nothing to help his development, this is something that co-owner John Mara has admitted. However, with recent the recent hiring’s of Mike Kafka and Shea Tierney, two QB coaches, it seems as if the Giants may finally be prioritizing Jones’ development.

When you combine this, alongside Joe Schoen’s commitment to drafting offensive linemen, things could be finally heading in the right direction for Daniel Jones.

While it is currently unknown if the NY Giants will keep Daniel Jones around past 2022, if they can put together a team and staff to help develop a new rookie QB it would be huge for the future of the franchise, as they cannot afford to fail yet another QB with potential.
