If people in New York and New Jersey weren’t excited for training camp to arrive before, the latest update out of East Rutherford on the NY Giants is sure to fire them up. That’s because the team has announced its training camp schedule, with 11 practices – plus a fan fest – officially being open to the public for people to check out.

With this, people who love Big Blue will be able to see this team ahead of the 2022 regular season arriving. You already know countless eyes will be on Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay and other returning starters, plus first-round picks Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal.

NY Giants training camp will welcome back fans to East Rutherford

This is the first time since 2019 that the G-men training camp will allow for the team’s supporters to make their way to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. There’s going to be plenty of intrigue from start to finish at camp, as people can’t wait to see what this squad will be able to get done under new head coach Brian Daboll, new offensive coordinator Mike Kafka AND new defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.

With so many new faces in the building, that also means there’s new energy around the NFC East side. Daboll has brought in a new vision for this squad and the days of Joe Judge and Jason Garrett making Giants supporters miserable are over. Instead, the offense figures to take a huge step in 2022 with Kafka leading the way.

Meanwhile on defense, people can’t wait to see what Thibodeaux will be able to get done during his rookie season, as the record of eight sacks set by Azeez Ojulari looks like it could be broken. According to The Athletic’s Dan Duggan, Thibodeaux was dealing with a tweaked hip during minicamp, but that injury is considered minor. He should be ready to rock for the start of camp.

That’s of course amazing news, but now folks are left wondering if the other long list of injured players will be suiting up on the first day of practices as well. This includes Toney, Golladay, Andrew Thomas and many more. While we wait to see the status on those players, the good news is that camp indeed is inching closer and there will be double-digit opportunities for the fanbase to see what these guys will have in store for 2022.
