3. Daniel Jones starts but struggles

Daniel Jones is still nursing an ankle sprain that he suffered in the third quarter of last Sunday’s victory over Chicago, but has received the first team reps in practice this week, an indication that he will be healthy enough to play on Sunday.

While Jones will start, it’s hard to believe that he will be 100 percent healthy. Jones is averaging 48.25 yards rushing per game in 2022, but it’s also hard to believe Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka will draw up running plays for a likely hobbled Jones, which will limit his ability to be successfully on Sunday.

Back in 2020, the Giants rushed Jones back off an ankle injury to play against Arizona, and he played one of the worst games of his career. Jones was sacked six times due to his inability to move, posting a horrendous 6.9 QBR.

With the Giants having a potentially hampered Jones and a banged up receiving core, you can expect the team will heavily lean on Saquon Barkley in this one.
