2. CB Adoree’ Jackson: B

After the Giants released James Bradberry, it became very clear that Adoree’ Jackson was going to have to step up to be the NY Giants CB1. While he hasn’t been bad by any means, Jackson has looked rather shaky at times.

On the season, Jackson has racked up 23 combined tackles and one pass deflection. In addition to this, Jackson has allowed 13 receptions on 22 targets for 199 yards and one TD. While most of his poor coverage moments have only come in two games, Jackson must be more consistent. For example, out of the 13 receptions and 199 yards Jackson has allowed, 10 receptions and 145 yards came in the games against the Cowboys and the Bears.

Oddly enough, what has been arguably Jackson’s best part of his game this season is his tackling. Despite missing six of them, Jackson has had several big plays in which he has taken an offensive player down in impressive fashion. More of the same will be needed from Jackson. He’s a leader for this defense.
