3 teams who could trade for NY Giants WR Kadarius Toney
By Zak Musso
1. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs receiving core does not necessarily need improvement, but great franchises like KC always seem to successfully buy low on talented players. After trading Tyreek Hill to Miami last March, the Chiefs offense has been lacking that same level of explosiveness.
While there is no other player like Tyreek Hill in the NFL, based off talent and skillset, Toney may be the closest. Offensive coordinators dream of having guys like Toney to draw up plays for. If he played for Kansas City, you better believe Toney would be lining up at quarterback in the Wildcat, wide receiver, running back, kick returner, and punt returner.
The Chiefs wide receiving crew currently consists of Mecole Hardman, rookie Skyy Moore, Justin Watson, and two new veterans who have struggled: JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. With Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, that WR crew, combined with Travis Kelce, should be able to compete with any AFC team in the playoffs. The addition of Toney would make them downright scary.
