2. Commanders, Lions and Packers lose

We already touched on the Commanders, but Detroit and Green Bay ALSO taking Ls would provide tons of people with smiles in East Rutherford. With the Lions, they’ll host the Chicago Bears at Ford Field. The Lions were expected to beat the Panthers last weekend, but Carolina ran all over Detroit.

The Bears may not be going to the postseason, but they have what it takes to record a road victory. Looking at the Packers, they’re somehow back in the playoff hunt after winning three consecutive games. Aaron Rodgers was able to power this team to a big-time win over the Dolphins last Sunday.

Rodgers didn’t play perfect football, but he made enough plays late to help his side earn the victory. Everyone is wondering if Christian Watson (hip) will be able to suit up for this meeting. If Watson misses the action, it will be a big blow for the Packers and Rodgers. Regardless of that, a Green Bay defeat would be outstanding news for the Giants. We’ll have our eyes on the Lions too.
