Welp, that game didn't go according to plan. The season-opener has come and gone at MetLife Stadium and fans are furious. This was an opportunity for the NY Giants and Daniel Jones to make a statement, but the opposite was the case. Following a 28-6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the morale is quite low.

Big Blue supporters are calling for Jones to be benched - they don't want to see him start another game for the G-Men. Well, we can hold the phone on that. Shortly after the final whistle, Daboll told the media that he's not even thinking about making a change at quarterback. Instead, he's ready to watch film on every aspect of the game and see what NY can improve on:

People in the stands were chanting for Drew Lock to take the field. Others on social media have said they'll be happy with Tommy DeVito running the offense. It really doesn't help that Sam Darnold looked like a Pro Bowler against the Giants defense, while Jones couldn't do much of anything right against Minnesota.

This article will be updated shortly.
