When it rains, it pours for the NY Giants. Heading into Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, plenty of fans have been worried about the hamstring injury for Andrew Thomas, which could keep him out of action. He's not the only one dealing with a bum hammy.

Third-year pass-rusher Azeez Ojulari is now dealing with a hamstring issue too, moving gingerly at practice on a limited basis on Thursday. Ojulari is no stranger to hamstring injuries, as they have haunted him early on in his career. Now, we don't know if he'll be able to suit up this weekend either. Seriously? When will the bad news end for this team?

Injuries continue to be a nightmare for Azeez Ojulari and the NY Giants

When healthy, Ojulari has proven to be a stud for this defense. That's the main issue, though: it feels like the stud outside 'backer is always dealing with something. During his rookie campaign, Ojulari appeared in all 17 games, posting eight sacks, a Giants rookie record.

However, Ojulari was only able to play in seven games last year due to injury, posting five starts. In 2022, Ojulari finished with 14 total tackles and 5.5 sacks. It was a letdown of a year for Ojulari, but Big Blue supporters were hopeful he'd get back on track in '23.

Ojulari was non-existent in the Week 1 loss to the Cowboys, which was a downer to start. Now we've got to worry about his health again? We'll find out more on Ojulari in the coming days, but it's unknown if he'll be able to rock against Arizona or not.

Free-agent OT La'El Collins has heard from double-digit teams

With the rough play on the offensive line, and multiple injuries too, could general manager Joe Schoen bring in a new body to help protect Daniel Jones? A name that a lot of people have an eye on is recently-released Bengals hoss La'El Collins.

If Schoen picks up the phone to try and land the 6-4, 320-pounder, he should know that he's not the only one interested. According to insider Jordan Schultz, Collins has heard from around a dozen teams. This makes sense, as he's nearing full health after suffering his torn ACL last year.

Collins would be a great get for the G-Men at this point of the summer, but there's a long list of organizations interested. Only time will tell if Schoen and Co. are serious about trying to bring him to town.
