The New York Giants made the playoffs in the 2023 season – Brian Daboll’s first as the team’s head coach – and they’re looking to do the same this campaign.

New York has a win total of 7.5 for 2023, which may be a little low if the team wants to get back to the playoffs.

Despite nearly losing running back Saquon Barkley to a holdout, New York returns both him and quarterback Daniel Jones to what should be an improved offense. The Giants added tight end Darren Waller in the trade market, drafted receiver Jalin Hyatt and signed receiver Jamison Crowder and Parris Cambell.

In a loaded NFC East, the Giants are clearly doing what they can to contend. BetSided’s NFL betting expert Iain MacMillan shared his thoughts – and his favorite futures bet – on New York for the 2023 season, but there is more than just one thing fans can consider wagering on.

Here’s how Vegas expects the Giants to fare in 2023:

New York Giants Super Bowl 58 odds

New York is set at +4500 to win the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean that the team can’t contend in a weaker NFC.

The Giants made the playoffs and won a playoff game in 2022, but they’ll need Jones (15 touchdowns, five interceptions in 2022) to continue to take strides at the quarterback position.

Health will also be key on the offensive side of the ball with Waller and Barkley both dealing with injuries in recent seasons. Still, it’s hard not to get excited about a Daboll-led team, even if the Giants aren’t among the Super Bowl favorites.

New York Giants win total prediction for the 2023 season

The Giants won over 7.5 games for the first time since 2016 in the 2022 season, but if you think they'll make the playoffs in 2023, the OVER is a no-brainer here

New York is going to need at least eight wins to get into the postseason (in all likelihood), but it does have a much tougher schedule than it did in 2022. Vegas seems to be adjusting for that after the Giants went 9-7-1 in 2022.

Best New York Giants season-long prop bet

Daniel Jones OVER 575.5 Rushing Yards (+100)

This prop for Jones, which is available at DraftKings Sportsbook, is a great bargain if you look at his numbers in 2022.

During the 2022 season, Jones saw his carries nearly double (62 to 120), and he consequently rushed for a career-high 708 yards and seven touchdowns.

We’ve seen Daboll utilize Josh Allen’s mobility in Buffalo to success, and he’s doing the same in New York with Jones. At anything under 600 yards, this feels like a great prop to take a shot on in 2023.
