NFL betting analyst is high on Giants in Week 1 matchup vs. Cowboys
BetSided betting analyst Iain MacMillan picks every game of the NFL season on his "Road to 272" bets.

Last year, Brian Daboll came in and turned around Daniel Jones and the New York Giants in just one season. They were one of the surprise playoff teams of 2022 and even won their first playoff game against the Vikings.
Now, the expectations coming into year two are still somewhat low for this team, except for a certain BetSided betting analyst, at least in their Week 1 matchup against Dallas. Iain MacMillan made a pick for this matchup in his “Road to 272” Week 1 bets and he’s high on Brain Daboll’s squad at home.

Giants vs. Cowboys odds, spread and total
Betting analyst prediction for Giants in Week 1
It’s not the roster that BetSided betting analyst Iain MacMillan is excited about, instead it is their second year head coach and front office lead by Joe Schoen.
“I was certain the Giants weren't as good as their record indicated last season, but it seems to be clear that they at least got themselves a hell of a head coach in Brian Daboll," MacMillan wrote. "I also liked what the Giants did with their offseason and I'm optimistic about this team in 2023.”
It used to be Danny Dimes who was a turnover machine, but last season he protected the ball and Dak Prescott did not.
“The Cowboys may be the more talented team, but Dak Prescott struggled mightily with turnovers last season and Mike McCarthy might be the worst head coach in the NFL," MacMillan wrote.
MacMillan is taking the Giants against the spread in Week 1.
