With NY Giants general manager Joe Schoen deciding to stand pat at the trade deadline and not bring in any wide receiver help for Daniel Jones, it shows he’s going to trust the guys that are already in town.

With that said, the good news here is that the Giants offense looks set to get a massive return for the Week 10 showdown against the Houston Texans, with $72 million man Kenny Golladay eyeing to get back on the field after being out since Week 3 with a knee injury. Now that Schoen’s Kadarius Toney headache is out of town, all eyes will be on Golladay.

People have been calling for No. 19 to make something happen for Big Blue. Last year was a joke for him, and he only has two receptions to his name in 2022. The time is now for Golladay to flip the script on his Giants career. No help was brought in via a trade, but a healthy Golladay can make people forget about that.

NY Giants wideout Kenny Golladay wants to help this team win games

Last week, Golladay was asked about his rehab and you could tell he was itching to put the pads back on to help out the Giants. He’s seen all of the negative talk surrounding his name, with Big Blue supporters quick to call him one of the worst signings in franchise history.

During his Tuesday press conference, Schoen said his fingers are crossed that Golladay indeed will be ready to go vs. the Texans. That Nov. 13 showdown at MetLife Stadium will be a fantastic chance for Golladay to put on a show against a weak secondary, and do so in front of the East Rutherford faithful.

"“I want to be a part of it big time,” Golladay said last week leading up to the game in Seattle. “I’m trying everything I can to get back out there. I never have been a part of a team that was 6-1, so I’m definitely trying to get back out there. I get jealous of the guys in a good way. It motivates me even more to get out there with them just so I can put my little stamp on the game however that comes. If it’s in the blocking area, if it’s in the pass catching, that’s what I get jealous about just seeing those guys out there having fun with it.”"

Golladay has been a major disappointment once again this fall, but all it might take is one big game for him to get his confidence back. Goodness, a touchdown vs. Houston would lift 1,000 pounds off his shoulders.

Golladay has what it takes to be a difference-maker for Jones. The real Kenny Golladay must reappear, and we’re hoping it happens as soon as possible for the G-Men.
