Brandon Jacobs About To Get A Raise
Accoriding to Pro Football Talk, running back Brandon Jacobs is about to sign a new four-year deal with the Giants.
As up-and-coming Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is getting his preseason workouts by doing push-ups in confined quarters and running a tin cup over steel bars, the team is preparing to lock up (not in the Ahmad Bradshaw way) their current starter for several years into the future.
Per Vinny DiTrani of the Bergen Record (via our pals at Rotoworld.com), an agreement could be reached soon between the Giants and running back Brandon Jacobs on a four-year deal.
Jacobs currently is signed through 2008, at a base salary of $927,000.
