Is Heyward-Bey a want to happen, or do you just think the Giants lean that way?
I love his speed… don’t know enough about the rest of the package.
March 27th, 2009 at 2:08 pmDWH is a definite possible for the Giants. Not only does he have elite speed, he also has excellent height and adjusts well to the ball. Would be a great choice if available at 29 (or through trade up).
March 27th, 2009 at 3:08 pmYour right about the combo of height/speed, wow.
Make it happen, joe!
March 27th, 2009 at 3:21 pmHeyward-Bey would be a great pick up.
March 27th, 2009 at 4:59 pmI would love to have him on the team especially
with such an explosive speed. But I’d rather prefer the great hands of Hakeem Nicks. Just because Heyward-Bey had a great combine doesnt mean he is better. I still see Nicks above Heyward-Bey, but either one is a great pick.
I’ve liked DHB before the combine. Underutilized in his college offense. Nicks would also be an excellent pick, but given the recent word that the Giants view Boldin as more of a #2 WR and the fact there games are very similar I went with DHB.
March 27th, 2009 at 5:33 pmI hoping NY does have a change for him if the Bears pick him
March 28th, 2009 at 5:36 pmLace/sean – Welcome! Hope you 2 stick around.
sean – Do you mean that you hope NY has a ‘chance’ at him?
We pretty much have a chance at anyone who is mid to late first round due to the ability to trade up. Not saying we will, but the options for Reese are wide open.
March 28th, 2009 at 8:55 pmIt’s looking more and more like the Rams will take Aaron Curry at #2…they can pick up an OT with their second round pick.
March 28th, 2009 at 9:24 pmyeah, what he said. I’m forced to watch Giants games cause my girlfriend is from brooklyn and a huge Giants/Yankees fan.
March 29th, 2009 at 4:48 pmThat is… odd, sean. Hmm… lol
March 29th, 2009 at 5:09 pmThe Jets need a blocking TE badly Brandon Pettigrew seems like a perfect fit at #17.
March 29th, 2009 at 5:55 pmI can’t see the Jets going TE in the 1st round two years in a row
March 29th, 2009 at 5:57 pmHis nickname is DHB, Daaaaa! And the Giants will not take him… SLB will be the choice
March 29th, 2009 at 9:01 pmThanks for the great article.
