We’re currently looking for contributing writers passionate about Giants football to join the staff here at GmenHQ.com. Wanted to try your hand at sports writing? Just want to rant about the NY Giants? Well we have a spot for you on our team.
This year has been one of success. I’ve commandeered this Big Blue Bandwagon during the offseason and have had a great time covering my favorite team these past several months. With a few more writers this blog will go through the roof and you will be breaking the news of your favorite team right along with me. So ask yourself – what’s your personality type? You can fit right in to the mix here on GmenHQ as a contributing blogger as soon as Sunday for the game!
Blogging spots include:
Analytical Openings - Breakdown game play following Sunday match-ups and analyzing game changing moments. (2 posts per week)
Opinion/Rant Bloggers – Write about anything about your thoughts regarding the latest Giants news. (2 posts per week)
NFL/NFC East Bloggers – blogger dedicated to doing league wide breaking news and NFC East intel. (2 NFC East posts and 1 league posts)
One Game Day Blogger – Blogs throughout Giants games, keeping readers up to speed on breaking news, game highlights and details. (posts before, during, and after Giants games)
As a contributing writer, you would enjoy:
• PR opportunities (and free swag) in conjunction with the Giants
• Attend events and meet the players.
• Syndicated work on SI.com, Yardbarker, and myriad Giants affiliated news sources
• Radio appearances
• Collaborative experiences with other Fansided bloggers
This is a non-paying position, however the benefits are great. Your work would be included among this sites syndicated work and you and your name would be out there and credited for it. Bigger opportunities are often in the waiting.
So join me and Fansided’s GmenHQ and enjoy yourself covering one of the best and most interesting teams in the NFL – the NY Giants.
