This athletic Giants defense has made some big hits on quarterbacks this season when they’ve made that the top priority, KO’ing five quarterbacks. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell, of course, would not reveal his plan, but he concede this is a playoff-like game for the Giants, and his players are excited about making a statement.

Shawn Andrews for the second straight day was unable to practice because of soreness and stiffness in his back, but his teammates cannot believe he will miss a start at left tackle against his former Eagles teammates.

Reid saw enough sacks in a 2007 loss to the Giants in which Donovan McNabb was dropped 12 times. Since then, Reid has done a good job of game-planning against the Giants’ pass rush.
