Lot’s of people are discussing the botched national anthem line last night by Christina Aguilera… a mistake I didn’t even notice the first time I saw her performance. Instead of singing “o’er the ramparts we watched” she sang “what so proudly we watched” — a mistake for which Christina has since apologized:
"“I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”"
It came through… and I thought she did a great job vocally. Much better than the latest runner up for American Idol would have done.
