Burress Gives Eye Opening Speach At Rookie Symposium

If Plaxico Burress could change anything about that night — “I would have never left the house…” was his advice to rookies as they begin their careers in the NFL.

"Burress talked to the assembled 2011 NFL draft picks and told them about the consequences of bad decisions, namely his bad decision to illegally carry a gun into a New York City nightclub, leading to a two-year prison sentence."

This was good of Plaxico, not many people are in his position or have been in that positon — and I’m sure his life lessons mean a lot to these rookies. He paid a huge debt, he made his mistakes – and I’m sure he’s learned from it. GMEN HQ wishes him the best in the rest of his career.
