Burress Gives Eye Opening Speach At Rookie Symposium

If Plaxico Burress could change anything about that night — “I would have never left the house…” was his advice to rookies as they begin their careers in the NFL.

via PFT:

Burress talked to the assembled 2011 NFL draft picks and told them about the consequences of bad decisions, namely his bad decision to illegally carry a gun into a New York City nightclub, leading to a two-year prison sentence.

This was good of Plaxico, not many people are in his position or have been in that positon — and I’m sure his life lessons mean a lot to these rookies. He paid a huge debt, he made his mistakes – and I’m sure he’s learned from it. GMEN HQ wishes him the best in the rest of his career.
