Rookie Wage Scale Is Biggest Hurdle In New CBA Talks

Adam Schefter thinks that the NFL and NFLPA has compromised enough on most major issues to reach a handshake deal by the end of the week, but the Rookie Wage scale discussions have been problematic and still pose a threat to reaching a new agreement by the end of this week. Watch:

So in order to hit a finalized, inked, and ratified CBA by July 21 both sides need to come to a sensible agreement on the Rookie Wage scale issue first and foremost this week in order to make the necessary progress to get the paperwork through by next week.
