Cotchery or Housh - Who's The Better Fit For The Giants?

After a long night of disbelief that Steve Smith will not be a NY Giant in 2011, two names are out there this morning for the Giants to consider: T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Jerricho Cotchery.

Here’s a quote via Rich Smiths twitter feed:

Hearing T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Jerricho Cotchery possibly get a look from the Giants.

The Ravens are not going to sign Cotchery although he visited the team this week, and Houshmandzadeh who used to play for the Ravens won’t be re-signing in Baltimore after dropping a would be 1st down pass against the Steelers on 4th down with 2 minutes to go in the playoffs… just a hunch. Bad taste all around Baltimore for these two guys apparently. The Giants have an opportunity to bring in these two guys and add some veteran depth to the WR core and the void left by Steve Smith.
