NY Giants Schedule 2023: Game-by-game predictions for upcoming season
Week 1 can't get here soon enough! Moments ago, the official 2023 schedule was released for the NY Giants and fans are already starting to count the days for the first game of the campaign to arrive for Big Blue.
After going 9-7-1 last campaign, the G-Men will enter the fall with high expectations for Brian Daboll's second year at the helm. Does this team have what it takes to win double-digit contests and get back to the postseason? We think so. In this piece, we have our game-by-game predictions, starting things off with a home game vs. that team from Arlington.
Week 1: NY Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys for Sunday Night Football
To open up the season, the Giants will be hosting the Dallas Cowboys for a Sunday Night Football tilt and it’s a matchup that people can’t wait for. Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley and Co. in primetime vs. America’s Team? Yup, we absolutely love to see it and MetLife Stadium is going to be rocking for this one.
Keep in mind that the Cowboys went 2-0 against the Giants last year, taking them down both in East Rutherford and in Arlington. This is a totally different NY club, though, as major improvements have been recorded on both sides of the ball. We think Jones will start the year off with a bang, tossing for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a Big Blue victory.
Prediction: Giants 28, Cowboys 21
