Word on Philly Sports Radio 610 WIP right now are the latest reports are coming in that WR Jeremy Maclin probably is suffering from Mononucleosis and is suffering from a swollen spleen, something that could rupture if he were to get hit in practice or during a game. This is probably one of the major reasons WR Steve Smith was snatched up by Andy Reid, while the team has been mum on the real reasons for Maclin not participating in camp with a mystery illness. As an added bonus, the Giants will be playing without Smith in 2011 and the Eagles analysts assume that a Giants team without Steve Smith simply is not as dangerous with him.
