I will start off by saying this article is going to be a little bit different than what you would normally expect. The goal of this article is to give an opinion of the Giants team the way you would expect a Giants PR person to write it. The other goal in this article is to give an opinion on the Giants in the form of a fan from an opposing team, in this case the Philadelphia Eagles. Ok, this is how its going to work, first I will list a few questions or statements about the Giants, I than will proceed to answer the question in both forms as a Giants PR person and a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Q & A
1.) How do you feel about the off season that the New York Giants have put together.
Giants PR – The Giants offensive line went through a transformation this off season and once again looks to be a strength for this team. The team overall was able to save money by not resigning veteran players and in the same process will provide young players and rookies with a valuable learning experience building towards the future.
Eagles fan – The Giants absolutely had the worst off season of any team in the league. They lost key players on the offensive and defensive line. They decided to let former Pro Bowler Steve Smith take a ride down the turnpike to the Eagles, allowed TE Kevin Boss to head out west to play with the Raiders. While the Eagles upgraded their team dramatically the Giants sat on their hands and watched their season fall apart before it even began.
2.) How do you expect QB Eli Manning to respond on the field to the changes that were made to the team in the off season?
Giants PR – Eli Manning is a Super Bowl winning QB and one of the best in the league at overcoming adversity, I believe that Eli is capable of putting this team on his back and taking them on a playoff run.
Eagles fan – Eli Manning is the most overrated Super Bowl winning QB of all time, when he plays the Eagles this season he is as likely to complete a pass to the Eagles secondary as he is a Giants receiver.
3.) How do you predict this season will play out for the Giants?
Giants PR – I see the Giants going through some growing pains throughout the season, however I believe they can rally around the strong play of our QB and defensive line in time to make a run deep into the playoffs. I feel that much has been made of a weak off season and not enough emphasis has been placed on the star caliber players that are still on this team. This is still a playoff caliber team and don’t be surprised if they win the NFC East this season.
Eagles fan – Looks like the Giants will be picking in the top 10 in the draft next season, you cant lose as much talent as they have in the off season and expect to compete in a division with a team like the Eagles, even the Cowboys have had a better off season than the Giants and they haven’t done anything worth noting.

Giants PR – I hope I was able to shed some light on what has been a deceivingly well constructed off season plan put together by Giants management.
Eagles fan – Can’t wait for the Giants to come to the Linc!!!
