Bills release first round pick

Multiple reports indicate that the Buffalo Bills have released highly talented yet undersized and under-performing LB Aaron Maybin. Reports have indicated that Buffalo attempted to trade Maybin before giving him his outright release. Read it here
Personally, anyone from the original Linebacker U (The Pennsylvania State University) always draws my interest. I could see the GIANTS taking a chance on Maybin. He will not cost them much and could be a very productive member of special teams (given his excellent speed). On defense one of the GIANTS biggest needs is LB support, so why not take the chance?
