— Deon Grant officially resigned with the Giants yesterday. He got back his normal #34. He is looking forward to bringing it to the Eagles this season.
— Sam Giguere has been waived. His groin injury proved to be a quite serious one.
— Beatty has looked solid in practice against Osi. Says he is happy to have him back to challenge him.
— Giants signed kicker Rhys Lloyd to take over for the ailing Larry Tynes. Rhys has a booming kick that could help with Giants special teams.
— Eli Manning said he believes he is an Elite quarterback and right up there with Tom Brady. This may be the make or break season to prove that.
— JPP and Boley’s backs have been acting up. If anything they would just miss the Bears game. Staff trying to be cautious with both.
