Former New York GIANT Tiki Barber finally has a team that is interested. Steven Pivovar
World-Herald Staff Writer reports the following:
Could former New York Giants’ star running back Tiki Barber wind up playing for the Omaha Nighthawks?
Omaha general manager Rick Mueller confirmed a report on ProFootballTalk.com that the Nighthawks hold the United Football League rights to Barber, trying to make a comeback after retiring from the game in 2006.
Very interesting. Poor Tiki. You know if he hadn’t disassociated himself from the franchise, the GIANTS might actually of been interested. Think about it; they need a third down running back and who better for than job than Tiki? Except, Tiki made some poor choices after leaving the GIANTS and is no longer welcome in the GIANTS family.
