Giants Sign WR DePalma To Practice Squad

The Giants added another WR their practice squad after working Dan DePalma out this morning.
Via the NJ Star-Ledger:
Wide receiver Dan DePalma, a Verona native and graduate of West Chester (Pa.) University who was with the Jets in training camp, will sign to the Giants’ practice squad today, his agent, Jerry Douglas, said. DePalma worked out for the team this morning, according to Douglas.

DePalma was also invited to Eli Manning’s passing camp earlier this spring according to the report.
I’d have to think he Giants are plenty deep at WR right now, with or without this move. When Ramses Barden comes off PUP week 6, this unit is going to be tight as can be. More tough cuts might be necessary at that point.
