NFL Analyst Has NY Giants As 6th Worst Team In NFL

Ready to stir the pot? Well, Adam Rank has his post up on NFL.com that is sure to do the trick.
In a bid to predict who will be the worst team in the NFL and as a result draw the top pick in next year’s draft — Rank has ‘ranked’ the Giants as sixth likely to achieve that distinguished dishonor… pun intended.

I’d like to know how you can make comments like this on NFL.com and not expect to be called out on hating Eli based purely on a straw man:
"The Giants are a darkhorse candidate for the top overall pick, but really hurt themselves by beating St. Louis on Monday night. A loss would have put them in a commanding lead for the No. 1 choice, but are clearly in a must-lose situation in the coming weeks. With Eli Manning at quarterback, anything is possible."
Of course this is tounge-in-cheek. Of course this is done in jest — but its just another example of the mainstream sports media piling on their favorite whipping boy for no good reason. You have to actually watch Giants games to know whats going on with the team and their quarterbacks. Is this false perception the reality? No not at all. Eli Manning finished this game going 16-18 with 2 TDs and 180 yards. The Giants won by multiple scores, went 2/2 in the red zone, ran the ball for well over 100 yards, and the defense showed a hell of a backbone by not giving up points on the goal line. On what planet are the Giants in the running for worst team in the league?
