Discipline Now Possible For Fake Injuries, Forfeiture Of Draft Picks Could Result

Accoring to Steve Wyche of NFL.com, the league just released a statement in the wake of allegations that NY Giants were faking injuries on Monday Night football against the Rams to stop the clock and substitute players on the goal line.

"NFL issues statement warning teams that if faking of injuries is suspected, discipline, including forfeiture of draft picks, could be levied"

This is huge. It’s been well established that this tactic has been used throughout the NFL for years. Well, you have the poor acting abilities of the Giants to thank for bringing an end to this facet of the game.
