Rapid Post Game Reaction…

Eli was elite today when it mattered. Two fourth quarter scoring drives. Going toe to toe with Tom Brady. TD passes to Manningham and Ballard. GIANTS WIN. His numbers were not great today, but he got the GIANTS in the end-zone when it mattered most. Great game Eli.
A standing ovation to the NY GIANTS defense. They didn’t have a ton of sacks, but they forced turnovers like crazy. Tackling was suspect a couple of times, but they did a great job in the first half and hung tough in the second half. You could not ask for anything more from them.
Special teams were okay today. Steve Weatherford was amazing today. When he punted he keep the Patriots inside of their twenty. His first five punts all were at the 20 or inside of it. Punt and Kick returners had a case of the fumbles, with Barden back I wonder if he will get any looks back there?
Tom Coughlin and his coordinators earned their pay to. Great play calling in the last five minutes of the game by the offense. Defense was spot on most of the game–the Patriots have a lot of talent and the defense did a great job to keep up with the Patriots like they did.
Overall, this was a complete team effort. Every aspect of the New York Giants came together to help the GIANTS win today. Today was a great team win for the GIANTS.
