Today’s Picks: Around The NFL

Heading into today I am 92-48 for the year.

Cleveland in Cincinnati—Win 23-20

Andy Dalton should continue his impressive rookie season today and easily take the Bengals past the Browns.

Minnesota in Atlanta—Win 24-14

Although Minnesota has been better of late, the loss of Adrian Peterson will keep them from making much noise today.

Carolina in Indianapolis— Win 27-19

I’m sure everyone in Indy stayed up to watch their number one draft pick last night.  Carolina easy in this one.

Washington in Seattle—Loss 23-17

Redskins gave all they have and lost to Dallas.  Seattle is one of the best home teams in the NFL.  Seattle wins this one.

New England in Philadelphia—Win 38-20

Philly playing for their lives again as they will for the rest of the season.  New England not always great on the road.  I think Vince Young is actually better suited to this team than Vick.  Take New England by the smallest of margins.

Pittsburgh at Kansas City—Win 13-9

K.C. picked up Kyle Orton, but not for this game.  They need to win their remaining division games to have a chance.  Pittsburgh easy.

Buffalo at New York Jets—Win 28-24

Buffalo doesn’t match up well when healthy…today they have no shot unless the Jets hand them a few easy ones.

Houston in Jacksonville—Win 20-13

The Matt Leinart experiment begins.  Look for Del Rio to make him look pretty bad and shaken to start with.  This game is won or lost on the ground.  Houston in a squeaker.

Arizona in St. Louis—Loss 23-20

St. Louis at home puts in a good effort and wins.  Close one.

Tampa Bay in Tennessee—Win 23-17

Tampa has faded lately. Tennessee needs to start winning to be a factor.  Take the home team here.

Chicago in Oakland—Win 25-20

Another case of a new QB, this time for Chicago.  Oakland at home should be able to make enough dents in the Chicago D to win.  X factor as always is do the Raiders punt to Hester.  Raiders.

Denver in San Diego—Win 16-13

The Denver D is awake. Tebow. Until he loses, he’s a winner.
