Giants Move Training Camp to Timex

The Giants will hold training camp this summer at their own training facility located next to MetLife Stadium.  The Giants had previously held traing camp at the University of Albany and Pace University in years prior.

The Giants are lucky enough to have a facility like Timex located in New Jersey where most of the players and coaches live.  The outdoor and indoor fields provide enough space and variety of surfaces to practice, and the equipment is state of the art.

I would suggest that not only the price and logistics of moving everything necessary to Albany was a factor, but also that the facilities at U of A had become an issue.  The complaints about beds, wet fields, and other issues had surfaced in recent years.  The Giants held training camp at Timex after the lockout in 2011…and of course the won the Super Bowl that season.
