New York Giants sign kicker Josh Brown

The New York Giants have signed kicker Josh Brown. Last season Josh Brown played for the Cincinnati Bengals in four games where he made 11 of 12 field goals and eight of  eight extra point attempts. In 10 seasons he has made 231 of 284 field goal attempts for 81.3 percent. He entered the league with the the Seattle Seahawks and then played for the St. Louis Rams and Cincinnati Bengals before becoming a New York Giant.

New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese released this statement, “Josh is an experienced, proven kicker in this league. Just like we try to do at every position, we expect great competition for the place kicking  job, and that will only make us better.”
