Multi-Year Deal Keeps MSG Networks as the Official RSN of Giants Football

MSG Networks To Bring Fans the Best of Big Blue All Season Long with Four Weekly Programs, Including the Return of “Giants Rewind,” “Giants Chronicles” and

Coach Coughlin’s Live Weekly Press Conference

 

 

New York, NY (September 4, 2013) – MSG Networks and the New York Giants have announced a new multi-year agreement that will keep MSG Networks as the official regional sports networks of the New York Giants. The new deal comprises four weekly programs, including live coverage of Head Coach Tom Coughlin’s Wednesday press conference.

 

MSG Networks kicks off its 2013 regular season coverage of Giants football with the debut of the all-new hour-long show “Giants First & Ten” on Friday, September 6 at 5:00 p.m. on MSG+. An encore presentation will run at 10:00 p.m.

 

“Giants First & 10,” hosted by Bob Papa with Carl Banks and Roman Oben, will tackle the top ten questions, issues and topics facing Big Blue for the upcoming game on Sunday. The fast-paced show will also include a revolving lineup of expert broadcasters and writers who will join the debate and have fun with the pressing themes of the week leading into the game. The 60-minute program will also feature compelling footage and enhanced graphics, giving fans a rich experience on every topic.

 

MSG Networks’ season-long Giants coverage will also include three programs each week:

 

  • “Giants Rewind” – New 30-minute episodes will premiere every Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. on MSG+ starting September 10 with Papa and Banks as they break down the previous game.

 

  • “Giants Press Conference” – MSG will telecast live coverage of Head Coach Tom Coughlin’s weekly press conference every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and hosts Paul Dottino and Roman Oben will recap topics the coach addressed during the 30-minute program.

 

  • “Giants Chronicles” – Every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., MSG will feature a new episode of the 30-minute show as host Papa talks to the biggest stars in Giants history and looks back at the franchise’s greatest moments. Past episodes have featured Eli Manning, Mark Bavaro and Lawrence Taylor as they discuss their Big Blue careers and Super Bowl titles.
