Week 1 Madden 25 Simulation

As you know from my Madden 25 review, I am pretty into Madden. Each week during the season I will run a full simulation of the Giants game. All Madden, 15 minute quarters, injuries and depth charts up to date to the best of my ability. So with that said, here’s the Madden 25 Week 1 Recap:

Tony Romo almost flawless in 54-24 rout of Giants.

Tony Romo was 33 for 36 for 379 yards and 5 touchdowns to lead the Cowboys to a win over the Giants. Eli Manning went down in the 3rd quarter and was unable to return, but by that point it was too late anyway.

Romo had plenty of help as DeMarco Murray ran for 190 yards and Jason Witten added 134 yards and 2 TDs off of 9 receptions.

Before Eli left the game, he was 16 for 24 with 209 yards and 2 TDs with most of his targets going to Brandon Myers (9 rec for 92 yards).

David Wilson only had 46 yards on 12 carries with a lost fumble.

Cruz, Pascoe, and Randle had the TDs for the Giants .

Defensively, Dan Connor led the team with 10 tackles and a sack, that sack ended up being the Giants only one of the game.

Ware picked up 2 of the Cowboys 3 sacks in the new Cowboys 4-3 defense.

If there is a positive, Dez Bryant was kept at bay with only 5 receptions for 49 yards.

Well, lets go ahead and hope Madden 25 is terribly wrong with this simulation. It was interesting to watch how much Brandon Myers was involved and how hard it was for the Giants to rattle Romo. Tomorrow night is just around the corner, and I can’t wait to watch the real thing!
