The big addition, on the Giants end, from Wednesday’s injury report is Corey Webster. Webster did not practice today and is listed with a hip injury. Although Webster had a rough year last season, he has had a strong start to the 2013 campaign. If Webster is unable to play on Sunday, it would be a huge blow to the Giants secondary as Aaron Ross would likely be asked to play in his place.

Other Giants added to today’s injury report because they did not practice are Brandon Mosley (back), Ryan Nassib (Ankle), and Adrien Robinson (foot), who was able to practice on a limited basis yesterday. None of these three are game changing injuries, although I find it interesting Nassib is popping up on the injury report. I wouldn’t be surprised that if the Giants end up needing an extra roster spot that they try to stash Nassib on season ending IR.

For the Carolina Panthers, Mike Tolbert (knee), Thomas Davis (leg), and Ben Hartsock (foot) were all back to full participation in practice. Josh Norman (thigh) and Josh Thomas (concussion) were both back, but listed as limited. James Dockery (thumb/shoulder) and Jon Beason (knee) both didn’t take part after practicing yesterday.

While the Webster loss would be a huge one for the Giants, as I said yesterday, there still are no excuses if the Giants don’t find a way to come out of Carolina with a win on Sunday. The Panthers are still extremely banged up, and aren’t a very good team even if they were at full strength.
