Giants vs Chiefs: Wednesday Injury report, Terrell Thomas limited

The official Wednesday practice injury report for the New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs has been released:

The Giants came out of Sunday’s embarrassment of a game against the Panthers with a bunch of new injuries. Henry Hynoski was placed on season-ending IR with a shoulder injury. David Baas, Chris Snee, Jacquian Williams, Spencer Paysinger, Cooper Taylor, and Terrell Thomas were all new additions to this week’s injury report.  Baas and Snee have been horrible so far this year, so it looks like the Giants are ready to use injuries as an excuse for that.

The most alarming new injury might be Thomas popping up on the report with a knee issue.  Thomas has already torn his ACL three times, so the Giants could be just taking a cautious approach.  Hopefully, his latest knee problems aren’t a sign of bad things to come.

For the Chiefs, they also have a number of injuries to important players with Brandon Flowers being the biggest name.

Throughout the next couple of days we will keep an eye out on the changes to the injury reports and see which players are able to take part more fully in practice.
