NFL Combine: Defensive Backs 40-Yard Dash Results

Corners and safeties took the field in Indianapolis for the final day of athletic testing/drills. Phillip Gaines (Rice) edged Justin Gilbert (Oklahoma State) for the top CB 40 time at 4.34. Jason Verrett from TCU opened eyes with an effortless 4.38. The two projected first round safeties, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Calvin Pryor, both ran a 4.58. Florida State FS Terrence Brooks recorded the top time at 4.41.
