Montee Ball, RB, Denver Broncos

Is there another locked in sleeper more reliable than Ball? Knowshon Moreno, fresh off of a 10+ touchdowns and 1,000+ rushing yard season, is being shown the door, and Ball is firmly expected to take over his exact role. Fantasy owners should easily bank on similar numbers if Ball can take care of the football and keep progressing as a receiver and pass protector. With a strong finish down the stretch in his rookie season, it already appears any real concerns have been pushed away. It’s entirely possible, if not likely, that Ball hits the ground running in year two. As a true sleepers last year, Ball should enter 2014 as a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside in Denver’s high-scoring offense.
