Former New York Giants’ safety, Tyler Sash, was involved in quite the the scooter chase recently. Yes, a scooter chase.

I don’t know how many people, especially ex-NFL players, ride scooters, but I am sure that the number is fairly low.

So, seeing a 6’1 210 lb. man on a scooter must be a funny sight to begin with, and it doesn’t help that on this particular night, Sash was not the most sober fellow on the planet as he admitted to having six beers…in one hour.

It all started at around 1:30 am on May 13th, the police were reportedly chasing Sash along on his scooter before he turned a corner and made a run for it.

Drunk men don’t get far running away from the police on foot, as they eventually found him hiding behind a tree in someone’s backyard.

While he refused a sobriety test, he did admit to having the six beers in an hour and was taken in to custody, but not before he was tazed and handcuffed. Sash has since pleaded not guilty.

While Sash did have a brief stint with the Giants from 2011-2013, he was more well known for his time with the Hawkeyes.
